Dare to be Square 2009
Richard Hugo House Seattle, WA
A weekend of square dance & music workshops, dancing, jamming, and tons of fun! Our mission is to promote and preserve traditional square dancing.
This year, we will be featuring nationally acclaimed caller, Bob Dalsemer, dance instructor at The John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina, along with our local favorites. Seattle bands, The Tallboys & the Small Wonder Stringband (Jere & Greg Canote + Sandy Bradley), will supply the dance tunes.
Who should come? This event is for everyone. Callers, old-time musicians, dancers, and listeners alike should come out for this fantastic & fun event.
