On Halloween after the game, the party is at the Eugene Hilton with The Essentials, dubbed the "Most Rockin' Local Band" in the 2009 Register Guard Reader's Choice Awards. DJ Big Balou starts the party at 9pm, followed by the soul and funk dance music of The Essentials at 10, and the debut of THE ESSENTIAL MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE at midnight, featuring the UO Thriller Dancers and UO Gospel Choir.
