| Description |
Teance is located in Berkeley, CA just east of San Francisco, home of some of the most leading gourmet food and beverage products in the world. The mission of Teance is to promote authentic fine teas and re-introduce the culture surrounding its appreciation. By providing the most pure, premium, seasonal whole leaf teas possible, we hope to introduce to the consumer the enjoyment, health benefits, and the serenity that comes with drinking tea.
Our tea buyer, Winnie Yu, will be speaking to Slow Food members about farm conditions, the tea market in China, and entertaining anecdotes of the lives and times of the tea producers everywhere she visits- that is, if she survives to tell the tale, as each trip is strenuous and full of surprises. Slideshow lecture and tea tasting.
