This classic romantic comedy by N. Richard Nash finds the Curry family trying to get by on their ranch somewhere out west, in the middle of a long drought. The Curry boys are trying to marry off their sister Lizzie. At 27, she isn't pretty and has been told that the only thing she has to look forward to is being an old maid. When she feels that she is about to lose her hopes and dreams, along comes the Rainmaker. He says he can make it rain for $100. However, while he is with the Curry family less than 24 hours, many things change.
