Spring Celebration on the Barclay Grounds and in the Mansion
Citizens of the Borough of West Chester have an amazing opportunity to acquire the stately Barclay Grounds using a combination of government grants and locally raised funds. This is the first fundraising event towards making that possible.
Please join the members of the Barclay Grounds Preservation Alliance in a festive evening at the Barclay Grounds and in the historic mansion on May 21st. Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served, along with some hometown Iron Hill brew. There will also be tours of this amazing property.
A silent auction will feature a week at a beach house in Ocean City, and a dockside rental of Philly's Tall Ship, GAZELA. Lots of other cool things, too.
Although thousands drive by the Barclay Grounds every day, few have ever had a chance to see inside the historic mansion. Come and see what is behind this historic marker!
Tickets are $40 per person until Tuesday, May 20th. Tickets will be sold at the door for $50.
