Choose Life...with Mohan Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to help increase deceased donor transplant activity throughout India. Organ donation is all about giving life - life that only YOU can choose to give, to help the thousands of patients waiting for an organ or tissue transplant.
Indie Meme, an Independent Film Promotion Company, strives to bring socially relevant indie films from India and connect them with audience and society at large. To start a dialogue, create a ripple, promote a cause and help support change for the better wherever & whenever possible is their aim. Indie Meme truly believes in the potential of the messages these films have and thus uses the media to communicate and spread the word to make a difference.
bLifeNY.org was created to engage and educate the public about the importance of organ donation. There exists discrepancy between the number of people on the wait-list for transplantation and the number of available donor organs. Nationally, nineteen people die every day awaiting this precious gift! Many noble efforts exist to impress upon the public the necessity and goodness of organ donation, but there remains a pervasive cloud of misinformation and under-education that impedes these efforts. So, here's what we must do to engender a cultural shift regarding organ donation awareness and action. We need to identify and cultivate the Connectors, Mavens, and Salesmen. We need to say something sticky. We need to encourage thoughtful and informed conversations. We need to be relentless. And we need to demand action. It's not enough to educate and cultivate favor. Registering one's intention to become an organ donor is the real prize.

"SHIP OF THESEUS" Synopsis
If the parts of a ship are replaced, bit-by-bit, is it still the same ship?
A blind photographer grapples with the loss of her intuitive brilliance as an aftermath of a clinical procedure; an erudite monk confronting an ethical dilemma with a long held ideology, has to choose between principle and death; and a young stockbroker, following the trail of a stolen kidney, learns how intricate morality could be. Following the separate strands of their philosophical journeys, and their eventual convergence, Ship of Theseus explores questions of identity, justice, beauty, meaning and death.
Anand Gandhi's 'Ship of Theseus' premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where festival director, Cameron Bailey declared it "the hidden gem of the year". Since then, the film has traveled to several international film festivals, winning many top awards at Transilvania, Tokyo, Dubai, and Mumbai to name a few.
The film was also chosen as one of 15 most 'life-changing' films of all time by the Critics' Circle, UK. Ship of Theseus was the only contemporary film on that list, which comprised classics like Annie Hall, Raging Bull, Battle of Algiers, and Hamlet.
Ship of Theseus is Anand Gandhi's first film and just won the most prestigious award in India - The National Award for The Best Film.
