Eight Festivals in One!

Enchant Your Family with the Magic of Lavender!

Celebrate Lavender ‚‚ at the Lavender Capital of North America ‚‚ Sequim, Washington

The 13th Annual Sequim Lavender Festival is the premier celebration of the joys of lavender and the largest lavender festival in North America. Sequim is located on Washington State‚‚s Olympic Peninsula, cradled in the ‚‚rain shadow‚‚ of the Olympic Mountains and Olympic National Park. The Sequim-Dungeness Valley has an ideal microclimate for growing lavender and with less than 20 inches of rain per year, the area is similar to the Provence region of France. Because of the unique conditions and dedicated farmers, Sequim lavender has received world-wide recognition for its superior quality and fragrance. Our farmers have over 200 years of combined experience cultivating lavender, developing the best planting and growing practices, and creating lavender products.

Getting around the Festival
There is plenty of free parking at each farm. A convenient free shuttle bus system provides access from ‚‚Lavender Central‚‚ at the street fair to each of the farms on tour. There is additional free parking surrounding the street fair and also shuttle parking lots downtown at QFC and JCPenney.

Accommodations
There are a wide range of accommodations on the North Olympic Peninsula surrounding Sequim. Port Angeles is just a 20 minute drive from downtown Sequim.  For more information on accommodations, visit www.olympicpeninsula.org or call 1-800-942-4042 for a free travel package.

Community Programs
The entire community is involved not only in the Festival, but also in celebrating these popular events: North Olympic Winery Tour, Jazz in the Alley, Olympic Theatre Arts, Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Show, Sequim Arts Studio Tour, Dungeness River Audubon Center, the ‚‚Puffin Cruise.‚‚ Jamestown S‚‚Klallam Tribe Cultural Evening, the Lavender Golf Tournament, and more.

Lavender Celebration Dinner
Those who love great food and the taste of lavender are invited to enjoy the end of the festival with a specially designed six-course seasonal dinner. Each dish features lavender and is prepared by local chefs with locally grown foods. Space is limited; go to our website for reservations.

Volunteers
More than 250 highly valued volunteers are the foundation for the success of the Festival. We have volunteers from throughout the world, so go to our website or call and get involved in the community of a world class event!
