Pisqu invites you to its debut pop-up dinner featuring Chef Josue Rivas! Josue is a Peruvian native and former Owner and Chef of restaurants in Florida and Portland, including Limo in Northwest.
Josue began as an engineer in California and worked for 8 years before pursuing his life long dream of becoming a Chef and restaurant proprietor. He studied at the California School of Culinary Arts Le Cordon Bleu program and has since established himself as an expert in flavors. While Josue's culinary education was French, his passion and his roots lie in Peruvian cooking and the experience this culture brings to food. Learning traditional Peruvian recipes and techniques from his mother, Josue blends the best of multiple culinary worlds, creating a unique and exceptional dining adventure.
The evening will take you through a tour of authentic Peruvian street food and highlight Peru's national liquor, Pisco, a delicious brandy, distilled from fresh grapes. This five-course dinner will include Pisco infusion pairings, wine, a surprise guest and Pisco connoisseur and gift certificates. The price is $70 and includes tip.
