Hedwig Dances' 2009 Summer Dance Intensive is a modern dance workshop led by Artistic Director Jan Bartoszek and Artistic Associate Maray Gutierrez with company dancers. The workshop takes place in the state of the art dance studio at the Chicago Cultural Center and includes modern dance technique, Afro-Cuban technique, repertoire, improvisation and composition plus daily Brown Bag lunch discussions with leading Chicago dancemakers and designers.

Note: The workshop culminates with an informal showing on Friday, August 21 at 3 p.m. Guests are welcome. The workshop is open to intermediate, advanced and professional dancers. The minimum age is 16 years.
