A dramatic production written by Francis Kuhn and produced by Fish Tale Group Theatre in conjunction with the Mississippi Museum of Art. In the summer of 1964, northern volunteers were invited by politically engaged African Americans to travel to Mississippi, register voters and establish community schools. "Voices of Freedom Summer" captures that summer through the words that were spoken, written and sung by organizers, volunteers, and the citizens of Mississippi.
