October 26: All the President's Moments Barbara Kinney Documents the Clinton White House
Barbara Kinney has been an eyewitness to history, serving for six years as personal photographer to President Bill Clinton. She will take you behind the scenes at the White House and around the world, with photos and stories of private moments with the president, First Family and world leaders. During her White House years, Barbara's photos were published on the covers of Time and Newsweek, and American PHOTO magazine named her image of President Clinton waiting to go on stage with Middle East leaders as one of the "Photos of the Century." World Press Photo Foundation recognized that same image as a first place winner in their 1996 competition of world's best news photo. In addition to her White House experience, Kinney had a 20-year career as photographer and editor at USA Today and Reuters, and she is currently Picture Editor for The Seattle Times.
