Northwest Film Forum and Three Dollar Bill cinema once again invite Seattle filmmakers to participate in the Karaoke Challenge. Ever wonder who's behind those Karaoke videos you sing along to at the bar on Friday nights? Well here's your chance to become one of them. Grab a camera, pick a song, and leave your mark in Seattle's first annual Karaoke Challenge! Content is open to interpretation; each submission must have a designated singer for the screening, which takes place on August 11 at Northwest Film Forum in Capitol Hill.
The project is open to all levels of skills and experience. Submissions are due July 31 to: Northwest Film Forum, c/o Adam Sekuler, 1515 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. For more information email Adam Sekuler at adams@nwfilmforum.org.
Rules: 1) Songs must be no longer than 5 minutes long 2) Formats: mini-DV, DVD, Beta-SP, or if you're feeling ambitious, Super-8 and 16mm 3) Include title, filmmakers name and contact info with submission
