ALIAS - Winter 2007
Turner Recital Hall, Blair School of Music Nashville, TN
The second ALIAS performance of the season features a string quartet by the living American composer Gabriela Lena Frank. Titled "Leyendas: An Andean Walkabout," the work shows the influence of Andean folk music. Also on the program is the Brahms horn trio and a three short pieces by Leonard Bernstein for cello and piano.
Proceeds from the concert benefit the Martha O'Bryan center.
Note: Tickets are $12, $5 for students with ID.
