Farm to Table, A Dinner in the Vineyard
Join Slow Food Katy Trail for our first "Farm to Table" event! We will start with a tour of Les Bourgeois' Wine-Making Facility, then venture into the vineyards for a tour and taste of the vines, and finally gather around the table as we feast on five fabulous courses while paying tribute to some of our best local farmers and artisans, all of whom will be dining with us! These amazing local products will be prepared by four of Columbia's best chefs: Mike Odette (Sycamore), Ben Clay (Les Bourgeois), Brook Harlan (Rockbridge) and Craig Cyr (The Wine Cellar). These chefs have created a five-course dining experience that will highlight our local artisans and farmers, all to be enjoyed with amazing wine from Les Bourgeois and fabulous live music! Join Slow Food Katy Trail, the chefs, and these amazing farmers, artisans and musicians for a truly unforgettable event.
If you are joining us for the 2:00 tour, we will meet at the tasting room, just off I-70 at the Rocheport exit. After you exit I-70, go North and make immediate right turn into the Les Bourgeois Tasting Room parking lot.
For the 3:00 Vineyard Tour and Dinner at 4:00, we will meet at the Tobacco Barn. Exit I-70 at the Rocheport exit and go SOUTH. Head South on Roby Farm Road, take a left on Sinking Creek Rd and take first left into the farm. Follow lane back to the Tobacco Barn. Parking in nearby field. Look for the Slow Food Snail Signs! See you there!
