Run of the Mill Theater, a Baltimore-based theater company dedicated to providing innovative programming of new and under-produced plays, premieres VARIATIONS ON HOPE, opening Friday, May 22nd at Baltimore's Theatre Project. The production, which runs MAY 22nd through MAY 31st, features eight one-act plays written by local playwrights in response to the audience-selected theme of HOPE. Variations on HOPE marks the fifth annual Variations Project, conceived by Run of the Mill Company members as a forum for collaboration in which Baltimore audiences provide source material for local playwrights to generate new work. The source material for VARIATIONS ON HOPE was gathered through interviews, surveys, writings, and recordings during the source party at BALTIMORE THEATRE PROJECT.
