The $30,000 Memorial Day Classic Grand Prix is a show jumping spectacular where some of the most elite riders come to compete. The Grand Prix is the highest level of show jumping, and one of the most dynamic and engaging equestrian events to watch. The audience can appreciate the athleticism of horses as they jump massively tall and wide obstacles, while riders simultaneously try to avoid gaining penalty points for errors. On course, the stamina, speed, and flexibility of the horse are tested, along with the relationship that the horse has with its rider. If riders do not gain any faults on course, having no jumps down and staying within the given time allowed, then these riders jump-off for the win in a riveting horse race over a shortened course.
The $30,000 Memorial Day Classic Grand Prix takes at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center on the cricket field. The cricket field is located near the entrance of the equestrian center on your left-hand side.
