:

GUARD DOG
Bill Plympton - 2003
Why do dogs bark at such innocent creatures as pigeons and squirrels...what are they afraid of? This film answers that eternal question.

LIFE SUCKS
Jiyun Kim
A middle-aged pet bulldog is ensconced by a couple's love until their baby girl is born. One night, the baby is left alone. Eventually, the bulldog rebukes the crying baby for making noise and lectures about the desolate harshness of life. However, the baby just dreams about life as cheerful and ecstatic in her imagination.

RYAN
Chris Landreth - Canada
In Ryan, we hear the voice of Ryan Larkin and people who have known him, but these voices speak through strange, twisted, broken and disembodied 3D generated characters, people whose appearances are bizarre, humorous or disturbing. These appearances reflect filmmaker Chris Landreth's personal world of psychological realism.

SUBWAY SALVATION
Carolyn London - USA 2003
It's an ordinary trip on the New York City Subway until God appears as half a turkey sandwich. 'Subway Salvation' is a stop-motion animated short that takes on urban living, the Almighty and the pains and pleasures of deli sandwiches.

SUV CITY
Michael Kelley - USA 2003
SUV City is an 8 1/2 minute, animated short film that, in a fun way, explores the psychology and the reasons why people choose to drive big SUV's.

THE BALLOON
Satinder  Singh - USA 2004
In a lovely park in the city, The Girl's afternoon swinging comes to a halt as she sees her mother coming with a big red balloon for her. In her excitement, she loses the balloon right away that lures The Mother and The Girl to get lost in an unknown part of the city. Getting separated from her over-protective mother, she has an adventure of her own while transcending the danger and tribulations of the real world.

THE OLD MAN AND THE FISH
David Bokser - USA 2004
A story about love, mortality, broken dreams, and fish. Le Vieil Homme et les Poissons is the the tale of an old man who longs to become a fish, and constructs a contraption to fulfill his dream.
