| Description |
As part of this creative exhibit, you're invited to experience the solo piano mastery of two internationally acclaimed new-age pianists. Gary Girouard and Louis Landon are two of the featured artists on "Whisperings, Solo Piano Radio" - the world's #1 internet radio broadcast! Sit back and enjoy heartfelt and compelling stories that weave uniquely American perspectives into dynamic and emotive piano compositions. The music is widely appealing as it blends elements of classical, jazz and pop into a melodic and lyrical style that will touch your heart. This show is
appropriate for all ages.
Gary Girouard: Currently residing in Falmouth, Girouard is best known as thecreator of the critically acclaimed "Naked Piano" CD series. The Naked Piano series features original compositions performed solo on an acoustic grand
piano - with no edits or effects. This natural style has been described by critics as "a masterpiece..." "a testament to a fluid live recording"...and "supreme elegance...". Girouard blends classical, jazz and pop into a modern neo-classical style that is extremely dynamic and melodic - and at once approachable by a wide listening audience. For the USA: Perspectives showcase, Mr. Girouard will be emphasizing scenes and contemplations with a
uniquely American theme.
Louis Landon: Solo piano recording artist, Louis Landon has dedicated his life to music. There's no doubt about it, his passion is for peace. His career has taken him around the world playing a variety of styles with some of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry.
He's been on stage before hundreds of thousands of people alongside James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Carly Simon, Bruce Springsteen, John Hall, Rupert Holmes, Vickie Sue Robinson and many others.
Not long ago, Landon realized that his music - the solo piano compositions that bring him so much joy and peace could surely bring joy and particularly peace to millions around the world. His mission is to create a peaceful world by writing, recording, and performing music from the heart.
There will be a brief intermission that includes snacks and drinks and Mr.
Girouard and Mr. Landon will be available to meet and greet guests. Ticket
prices are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Students (under 18) and Seniors
(over 65) $5.
