 A two act recital featuring edgy humor and short plays by ventriloquist Ron Coulter and his partner Sid Star. Ruby Lounge Confession proceeds from mirth to murder. Inherit to Die is a deadly backstage battle of wills. These voice illusionists promise to delight and amaze with virtuosity, comedy and the unexpected.

The Coulter and Star comic team have made audiences laugh for 50 years while pushing the boundaries of ventriloquial and dramatic convention. They toured nationally, toured Asia for the U.S. State Department and the USO, taught college theatre and operated Oaklands Myth and Magic Factory. They received enthusiastic reviews at the recent Frigid Fest in New York.
Few ventriloquists risk the demands of character- and plot-driven theatre, says Coulter. Soliloquy For Two combines the best of our recent New York show, Jihad for Vent and Dummy, plus our evening of one-act plays, Last Act for Walter Gordon, and fifty years of fun-filled foolishness.
