Coriolis Dance Collective presents its first full-evening performance with Co-LAB 1, May 23rd-24th, 7pm at Spectrum Dance Theater Studios. This sampling offers a diverse range of new work by Co-founders Christin Call and Natascha Greenwalt-Murphy, Seattle favorite Jason Ohlberg, Spectrum Principal Hannah Lagerway, and emerging choreographer Selfick Ng-Simancas. From the languid to the evolutionary, sumptuous form to high psychological drama, these works are difficult, extravagant, challenging, and engaging. Featuring musical composition and arrangement by world-renowned trumpeter Adam Rapa, costumes by 2008 Seamless in Seattle winner Liise Wyatt, vocal contribution by Pacific Northwest Ballet Principal Carla Korbes, and an original score by digital musician/visual artist Ryan Soper.
