18th SEQUIM LAVENDER FESTIVAL
FREE or FEE. You decide. The 18th Sequim Lavender Festival begins on Fir Street, near downtown Sequim, with artist and craftsman booths, Northwest food favorites, continuous live music, beer & wine garden featuring lavender martinis, margaritas and wine, children's activities & inspiration and insight on the many uses of lavender, brought to you by the people who grow it best, The growers of the Sequim Lavender Growers Association. Please drink responsibly.
Admission to the Street Fair is FREE. We've thought of most everything. The streets are flat, paved and level. Shaded grassy areas with chairs and tables are provided for your comfort. Portable rest rooms and a public restroom with a diaper changing facility are nearby. There's convenient curbside drop-offs for strollers, walkers and dog sleds before you park. Parking is provided FREE by our friends from the QFC and JCPenney organizations. A FREE in-city shuttle service will take you to and from the Street Fair and other designated locations in the city limits. This is a "must experience, I will mark my event calendar" to attend.
Our information booth staff and Lavender Ambassadors will assist you in getting around the Street Fair and getting you started on a one-of-a-kind lavender farm experience. With a driving guide and your steering wheel in hand we'll send you off to the fertile Sequim-Dungeness Valley to see first hand how lavender is grown. You'll be visiting during mid-harvest season when the lavender is prettiest and most fragrant.
During this harvest season we will feature 5 lavender farms, a commercial nursery and the largest berry-lavender farm in this part of the world. These farms grow, process into value-added products and sell the finest lavender, making this growing region the Lavender Capital of North America. Admission to all of the Lavender Growers Association farms come with FREE ADMISSION, FREE PARKING, FREE FRAGRANCE and FREE FAMILY ENJOYMENT. "We'll Keep the Lavender Blooming."
