Pure Delite
Pure Delite, a showcase of YMR's Musical Mentoring Project, will feature 5 amazing young artists (Andrea President, Princeton, Anais, Erica Nalani & Rayna Rose) on Friday, May 8th at the 19th St. Theater at the Fox.
The Musical Mentoring Project is a collaboration with Pure Delite Music (Larry Batiste & Claytoven Richardson, who also serve as Musical Directors for the Grammy's). This project matches up & coming artist from YMR with Larry & Claytoven for an intensive hands-on experience in artist development and recording a professional record. This project was made possible with the generous support of the East Bay Fund for Artists and the contributions of individual donors.
Youth Movement Records (YMR) is a youth-driven media arts organization inspiring under-served urban youth, ages 13-19, to engage in learning, leadership and positive community involvement. YMR involves youth through music, mentoring and entrepreneurship in order to reduce violence, develop skills and create community change. YMR is a non-profit 501c3 organization.
