Food Lust 2014
Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to raise your fork and save the farm.
Join Cascade Harvest Coalition for Food Lust 2014, the ninth annual on-farm gala and fundraiser benefiting the Coalition on Saturday, June 7 at Camp Korey at Carnation Farm in Carnation, WA.
Your evening begins with tempting appetizers and local cocktails as you take in the beautiful farm vista of Camp Korey. With the sounds of music in the air (compliments of Seattle swing band The Wiretappers), you'll be in such a good mood you'll want to bid on every fabulous item in our silent auction.
When the call comes for dinner, it's time to enter Camp Korey's historic Hippodrome for a memorable meal, lovingly prepared by top local chefs with ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers with choice offerings from local wineries, brewers, bakers and artisan cheesemakers. After dinner, we're off to the races and the live auction featuring Master of Ceremonies and auctioneer Kevin Joyce (EnJoy Productions, Teatro Zinzani, UMO Ensemble) and the divine temptations of our epic Dessert Dash.
It's a grand time and a delicious one, but most of all this is a fundraiser for our amazing organization. So come prepared to flash some cash on our behalf.
All proceeds from Food Lust 2014 support Cascade Harvest Coalition, a Seattle based non-profit. Since 1999, the Coalition has been instrumental in providing a diversity of programs to help build a sustainable food system in Washington State. When you invest in the Coalition, you invest in healthy farms, healthy food and healthy communities.
