The Mudflapps W/ Shaun Peace / Cullen Wade
The Mudflapps are a Chicago- based band that plays original acoustic music. Whether plugged-in on the big stage, or truly unplugged and unamplified, they give audiences a dose of country storytelling at its finest. The songs weave tales of woe, whiskey, and wild living into a mix of styles with nearly universal appeal. Sometimes it sounds like honky-tonk, sometimes more like bluegrass, sometimes more like jug band blues. It often sounds like nothing you've ever heard before. Upright bass, guitars, dobro, and mandolin combine with strong songwriting and tight vocal harmony to create a show fit for stages of any size.
Mixing the roots of rock n roll, blues, and reggae music, Shaun Peace has a uniquely blended sound of upbeat and dance filled music. Born in Texas, but moving several times before the age of 5, he landed in Virginia and was raised on rock n roll. He picked up the guitar at age 12 and never looked back. He performed his first USA Tour in 2013 with appearances in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, Austin, TX for the SXSW Festival, Dallas, OKC, Albq, PHX, LA at the Famous Whisky a Go Go, Viper Room, House of Blues, Rainbow Room, Roxy Theatre, San Fransisco, Portland, Seattle, Denver and many more. While performing shows all over the USA
Louisiana native and Nashville transplant Cullen Wade has spent the last four years refining his skills across the south east. Entertaining crowds with his soulful charm under the name of his folk rock project Nickels & Dimes. Now stepping out on his own for the first time as Cullen Wade, he's not holding back and bringing pure honest music to the masses.
