Pandit Shivnath Mishra and son Deobrat Mishra, with Pandit Kumar Lal Mishra on tabla, return to Seattle in this inspired and popular concert of sitar, voice, and tabla. The Mishra's have played around the world, their skill and dedication will thrill you with the sound of ancient India. They are the founders of the Academy of Indian Classical Music in Benaraes where they conduct the Gharana Baccha program to train children so that the tradition of classical Indian music can be perpetuated.
Note: This concert will introduce renowned Indian tabla player, Pandit Kumar Lal Mishra. The Mishras will have CD's of their music available for purchase at the event.
