The Play: The winner of our national new play competition is a timely comedy about fame, fortune and compromise. Ashraf, an Arab-American actor, finally lands a role in a Hollywood blockbuster. The hitch: it's as the most stereotypically evil, fanatical Islamic terrorist ever.
The Playwright: Yussef El Guindi is the award-winning author of several produced plays, including BACK OF THE THROAT.
The Cast: Christopher Carlos, Michael Federico, Ethan Rains, Leah Spillman and Lulu Ward
