| Description |
MORRIA is a new performance collaboration between New Orleans based companies ArtSpot Productions and Mondo Bizarro. This work is an investigation of the relationship between Louisiana's deeply rooted cultural traditions and our vanishing coastal region, as told from the perspective of the Loup Garou (CajunWerewolf). Our goal is to create a performance that investigates this question: What will happen to our cultural traditions as the land that nurtures them disappears? ~~~~~~~SO MANY WAYS TO KILL A MAN is an adaptation of Aeschylus Agamemnon, a classic tragedy in which a family destroys itself because each member is thoroughly convinced of their own righteousness and the evilness of others. It investigates the absurdity of violence, the impossibility of Justice, and whether we can actually learn and grow through suffering. This piece showcases Ragged Wing Ensembles unique physical style through movement, puppetry and mask work.
