Steps to Prevent Wrongful Termination

In this program tools will be provided to assist you with several areas of employee relations to avoid wrongful termination claims.

Identifying, Preventing and Responding to Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Retaliation in the Workplace: Tools to train your front-line supervisors and human resources team to protect your employees and your business.

Hiring and Interviewing: Tools for best practices in hiring and interviewing and how the law has changed with respect to what information you can request from a candidate.

Performance Management: How to keep good employees on track, and how to consistently discipline within the law.  Trends in workplace policy-making will also be identified.

Terminations:  If you do need to terminate an employee, we'll discuss the steps required before making that decision.

Join us for real-life hypotheticals arising from recent case law.  Learn to read the warning signs to avoid discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination claims.
