Roasting Oolong Teas
Teance is located in Berkeley, CA just east of San Francisco, home of some of the most leading gourmet food and beverage products in the world. The mission of Teance is to promote authentic fine teas and re-introduce the culture surrounding its appreciation. By providing the most pure, premium, seasonal whole leaf teas possible, we hope to introduce to the consumer the enjoyment, health benefits, and the serenity that comes with drinking tea.
In this tasting class, try teas roasted at the premises at different temperatures and durations, learn some aging techniques for your own collection. Teas will be roasted with miniature roasters to replicate some of the conditions at the farms. This is a tasting class.
