Steeping Oolong Teas Taiwan style at the Teance Tea Room

Teance is located in Berkeley, CA and is home to some of the most leading gourmet food and beverage products in the world. The mission of Teance is to promote authentic fine teas and re-introduce the culture surrounding its appreciation. By providing the most pure, premium, seasonal whole leaf teas possible, we hope to introduce to the consumer the enjoyment, health benefits, and the serenity that comes with drinking tea.

In this class, you'll learn to steep and enjoy oolong teas. Considered to harvest and craft some of the best oolongs in the world, the Taiwanese have mastered not only the production of tea, but how to best steep and capture their fragrance as well. Learn to steep and appreciate these highly aromatic oolongs using the Taiwan ceremonial method. This is a hands on tea training class.
