"Big Love" is the tempestuous story of 50 brides who have fled their 50 intended grooms and find themselves marooned on the shores of Italy. They take refuge in a dreamlike Villa until, when forced to marry, the women make a murderous pact, and the ceremony erupts into a dance of carnage and cake.
From a gay cross-dressing host to the violent grooms who storm the home via helicopter, Charles Mee deftly probes the relationship between justice and war, gender and choice, compassion and revenge in an explosive and biting comedy of the sexes.
