LITTLE EVA at the Upper Susquehanna Cultural Center
Upper Susquehanna Cultural Center Milford, NY
On the night of June 14th, 1934, the mangled body of Harry Wright was found in the ditch of an Upstate NY country road. Hidden beneath the surface of this apparent "hit and run," was a twisted plot of greed and murder. This summer, Oracle Theatre, Inc. will present the true story of Eva Coo, in the sleepy upstate NY towns where she lived, worked, and committed her vile crime.
Our first two weekends will be at the Upper Susquehanna Cultural Center (restored historic colonial church) in Milford, NY.
"Little Eva," written by Isaac Rathbone, a playwright who grew up in the area where the crime occurred, is being produced by Oracle Theatre, Inc. in conjunction with The Greater Milford Historical Association in June 2009.
Note: * There is an Opening Night Gala Reception at the neighboring Sayre House following the June 12th performance. Your June 12th ticket price includes this Gala reception hosted by The Greater Milford Historical Association.
*Tickets will still be available at the door, even when ticketing website says it's SOLD OUT or no longer offering tickets for this date.
*The closing weekend (June 26-28) will be presented in the actual Cooperstown, NY Courthouse, where her trial took place and is listed as a separate event on www.brownpapertickets.com
