Sahar, A Ballet-New England Premiere
Sahar is a 45-minute ballet that has been re-staged for its 10th anniversary and New England premiere. Choreographer Colleen explains, "I am intrigued by the Middle East, and the stories, music and mystery of the region inspired this ballet. Sahar is an Arabic girl's name meaning "dawn" and it is a fitting name for the ballet that is themed around a new beginning within a group of strong, beautiful women."
Colleen's choreography has been showcased at The Boston Conservatory, Boulder Ballet, Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre, and Urbanity Dance (Boston, MA). She holds a BFA in Dance from The Boston Conservatory.
