Description
Morbidity and mortality, the song and dance. Alas is a performance collage incorporating physical theater, dance, vocal harmonies and horrors, striptease, breast self-exam, cranio-sacrilegious massage, skull bowling, and eight perfect bodies. Playing with the ways we experience our anatomies as wrong or not our own, Alas occupies a dreamscape where the test results have already arrived. Desire and dotty humor share space with illness, aging, and dysfunction in a dizzy whirl of denial: Wrap me in a shroud, Ill keep dancing!
Note: No late seating. Links Hall is a second floor walk up--there is no escalator or elevator.
