March 22, 2014 at Brüka Theatre as part of our Artist In The House Series, Tony DeGeiso will lead a discussion and participation workshop for anyone interested in the concepts of stage directing and dramaturgy. Concepts discussed include non-verbal communication between the actor and the audience, the role of time and place in the rehearsal process and how dramaturgy provides the basis for understanding time and place. This is an incredible opportunity to work with an artist who has the ability to make research and application relevant, engaging and inspiring for directors, actors, theatre artists or anyone interested in the process of theatre.

ABOUT ARTIST TONY DEGEISO Tony has worked in various Reno Community Theatre's for over 30 years and brings his expertise in directing and dramaturgy to Brüka for all of the 2013/2014 shows and to our Artist In The House Series where he will lead a workshop on directing and dramaturgy for the community. Tony has directed Art and God Of Carnage at Brüka and will music direct Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson in May of 2014.
