A manic weirdo who spent far too much of her adolescence fending off rebellious tendencies, Heather Hanford isn't necessarily equipped to handle adulthood. Comedy is her outlet for coming to terms with her transition from an awkward nerd to a smug asshole, with the hopes of bringing some sort of gratification to someone other than herself. It's probably just for her, though, let's be real. Heather has shared the stage with nationally-touring comedians like Moshe Kasher, Dan Ronan and Finesse Mitchell. You can find her spending lots of time at her second home, The Comedy Club on State in Madison, WI.
I'm a comedian. I have been performing since 2007 in various formats including (but not limited to) improv, sketch comedy and standup. As a writer I have worked with the Broadminded sketch group, Sketch 22 and I was a contributor to the Committee of Five political blog. I'm also a student at The Second City Training Center for Writing.
As a standup, I have worked with such comics as Tom Clark, James Ervin Berry, Chastity Washington and the Caste of Killers (the entire caste!). I do observational comedy based on my own experiences and my goal is to make everyone in the audience say "oh yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about!"
As an improvisor, I was trained at ComedySportz in Milwaukee and the Annoyance Theater in Chicago. I'm a professional player at ComedySportz Milwaukee and I've worked with various groups and
About Glassworks Improv:
Glassworks Improv is a long-form improv trio based out of Eau Claire, WI. Their shows combine the goofiness and play of a child with the insane, often absurd, truths of adult life. The three have been improvising together since high school and have trained with the likes of Rick Andrews (Magnet Theater), and Craig Cackowski (iO, TV's "Community"). They have played at the Denver Improv Festival and will be playing The Chicago Improv Festival this April along with the Twin Cities Improv Festival in June. They also serve on the board of directors of their hometown festival, The Eau Claire Improv Festival.
