THE REVELATIONS featuring TRE' WILLIAMS, from Brooklyn
come to Boston to perform songs from their debut cd, "Deep Soul"...Imagine the rich experience of THE REVELATIONS: guitarist WES MINGUS (Bilal, Leela James), drummer GINTAS JANUSONIS (Erykah Badu, Branford Marsalis), bassist JOSH WERNER (Matisyahu, Sly and Robbie), keyboardist BORAHM LEE (Wyclef, Lauryn Hill) and legendary arranger and multi-instrumentalist PATRICK ADAMS (Herbie Mann, Eddie Kendricks, The Main Ingrediant, Black Ivory and many more), together with the vocals and writing talents of RELL (Mary J. Blige, Raphael Saadiq, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Usher), along with the lead vocals of TRE' WILLIAMS (sounding like Anthony Hamilton with the depth of Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Al Green) and they will all be here, in a live show, up close and personal!
KAFELE - trumpeter from New York City
calls his music "Cool Fusion," a poetic entanglement consisting of the finest elements of jazz and the richness of Hip-Hop and other forms of music. He's performed in Baltimore, New York, Dallas, Detroit, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Miami, opening shows for Slum Village, Isaac Hayes, Kem, Erykah Badu, Boys II Men and Amel Larreuix. Kafele is a musical visionary who believes that there is a difference between music produced for the sole purpose of making money and music created as an expression of one's inner self. He hopes that you'll recognize this difference in his music when you hear him.
MELIKA MILLER from Harlem
is a fresh, singer/songwriter who is making her mark in the soul music scene with her debut album Phases of Love: Volume 1. The album displays Melika Millers eclectic, soulful singing style which she learned from growing up in the rural areas of Poplar Grove, Arkansas. Melika's explosive style was influenced by such artists as Isaac Hayes, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Donny Hathaway, and Roberta Flack.
TIM DILLINGER from New York City
Tim Dillinger is a singer/songwriter, poet/author whose work has been receiving recognition on an international scale since 2004 when he released his debut album, "Love Is On My Mind".
