The Purple Onion is one of the most historic comedy venues in America. It has been voted the Best Comedy Club in San Francisco many times, and SFstandup.com is proud to host the club's only recurring comedy show. From legends such as Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, and The Smothers Brothers, to contemporary comics like Zach Galifianakis and Todd Barry, the Purple Onion continues to be a favorite for audiences and performers alike.
