Mindful Eating at Weight Watchers (FREE)
Come to a guided mindful meal that focuses on the skills from the Weight Watchers routine "Eating Without Distraction." Learn how to be more mindful, savor your food and make every bite count. This event will include brief instruction, practice, and a guided mindful meal followed by a discussion and sharing experiences.
BRING YOUR OWN FOOD, beverage and tableware if you wish. (you might want to make it more of an individual "dining" experience; ie bring your favorite bowl or special napkin) This event will be more meaningful if you arrive with an empty stomach. Bring an assortment of various foods that you would enjoy for an evening meal. There is no heating facility, so bring it in an insulated dish or bring food that can be eaten at room temperature.
This event is limited to 16 participants. It is free of cost and open to Weight Watchers members as well as non-members.
Due to the participatory nature of this event, doors will be shut at 6:25 pm and no late walk-ins will be admitted. Arrive Early!
Although this event is free of charge, participation is limited so please do not come unless you receive an email confirmation from Brown Paper Tickets. There will be a will-call sign in sheet at the door and in order to assure a quality experience for those who have signed up, a maximum of sixteen total participants will be admitted.
