2nd Annual King of the Hill Bowling Tournament & Fundraiser
Whether you're a top-notch competitive bowler, hit the lanes for fun, or just enjoy good food and good beer, come join us at PEP's 2nd Annual King of the Hill Bowling Tournament & Fundraiser! Enjoy bowling for the chance to win fabulous prizes in one of the top-rated bowling facilities in Philly - and support a great cause while you do it.
The Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, April 6th from 1pm-8pm at PEP Bowl, located at 1200 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia. The tournament will consist of two competitions: the Novice division for casual bowlers from 1pm to 3pm and the King of the Hill for league bowlers from 4pm to 8pm (or when finished).
Wonderful prizes will be available for the competitors. Other non-competing guests are welcome to join us for a catered buffet, an open bar serving artisan brewed beer, wine and soft drinks and live entertainment in the first floor Great Room. Raffle baskets and 50/50's will be available throughout the afternoon.
Programs Employing People (PEP) began in 1969 with the creation of Camp PEP by a group of mothers and community members in South Philadelphia who needed a specialized summer camp for their children with intellectual disabilities. Since many of our families served are economically disadvantaged, PEP's 2nd Annual King of the Hill bowling tournament's proceeds will support Camp PEP alleviating some of the financial burden on families. We sincerely hope that you will join us for a day of spirited competition to support our amazing Camp PEP.
Tournament details:
NON-COMPETING GUEST beginning at 1pm
$40 to enter.
Admission includes catered buffet, an open bar serving artisan brewed beer, wine and soft drinks and live entertainment in the first floor Great Room. Raffle baskets and 50/50's will be available throughout the afternoon.
NOVICE TOURNAMENT beginning at 1pm
$50 to enter.
Must bowl three games. Prizes given throughout tournament. Prizes for high score and best Male & Female score.
KING OF THE HILL TOURNAMENT beginning at 4pm
$75 to enter.
Must bowl three games. Cash & Prizes awarded for various achievements. Based on 48 entrants, prizes will include $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place.
King of the Hill entrants must have an established average. We will allow:
1. Other bowling center (most recent) standing sheets.
2. USBC book average 2013.
3. Bowlers in a PEP Bowl league
4. Advanced players should contact PEP Bowl for additional information on rules governing this tournament.
