ComedySportz March Madnezz
ComedySportz is fast-paced, all-ages, competitive improvisational comedy, played as a sport. Two teams take turns making up scenes, playing games and singing songs and the audience votes on which team they like the best. It's all presided over by a referee, who keeps things moving, calls the ComedySportz fouls and takes suggestions shouted out by the audience before each game.
If you've seen TV's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" or "Imrov-A-Ganza" you've got the basic idea, although ComedySportz's two-team competitive format ensures a fast-paced, high-energy show - and seeing this live show is very different from watching a TV show.
For our special March Madnezz weekend, on Friday March 21, two teams will play each other at 7:30. Two more teams will play each other at 9:30. On Saturday March 22, the two losing teams will play each other for third place at 7:30 with the championship match at 9:30.
