World Sampler: The Eastern Hemisphere

An exuberant look at the arts across the dateline. Colorful, lively dances from Vela Luka Croatian Dance Ensemble; traditional Japanese pearls from storyteller Kuniko Yamamoto; and virtuosi music with a message from the legendary Lion of Zimbabwe, Thomas Mapfumo and The Blacks Unlimited.
Note: Late seating is not guaranteed. There are no assigned seats, Giant Magnet utilizes festival seating; all Giant Magnet attractions are wheelchair accessible. And now the fine print: No refunds or exchanges, performances are subject to change. Please honor the performer's age recommendations. All persons 2 or older must have a ticket; parents with infants and toddlers will be seated near theater entrances for easy exit (no readmission) should the child become restless or noisy. School groups will be seated first, thank-you for your patience. One of two World Samplers playing at Giant Magnet on Friday; The World of Laughter Sampler is at 10AM. Thursday Samplers are Inside India and The Western Hemisphere.
