Cossacks attack the Minsk ghetto and harden a young Jewish girls defiance.  She embraces Marxismand her fellow comradebut is torn between the Revolution and Tradition.  She flees to Kenya to an arranged marriage with a Torah scholar.  When WWI invades, they choose Petaluma over Palestine and start the famous Jewish Chicken Ranch Co-op (read, kibbutz) in Sonoma County.  But America at war-time is a dangerous place for Socialist ideas, and night-riding Vigilantes come again! 

Cast: Reuben Alvear, Al Badger, Sarah Eismann, Theresa Miller, Brian O'connor, Jeff Trescott, Yelena Segal and Sarah Eismann as Basha.
