A celebration of liberal values to honor Congressman Jim McDermott!
Seattle performing arts professionals will collaborate to produce a spectacular variety show at the historic Columbia City Theatre in Rainier Valley.
Political satire is way too easy these days, with current events and newsmaking personalities bordering on the surreal! We will feature musical and visual twists of those, sprinkled with flamboyantly costumed eye candy and eccentric acts. An entertaining fundraising auction is included, and an Italian buffet from Tutta Bella. The theater's bar service and waitstaff will be available.
The independent production from Citizen Artiste, a Seattle political org, is a statement of support for our exceptional Congressman, Jim McDermott. We want to call attention to Jim's ongoing court battle to defend civil liberties and transparency in government.
The performers and producers are volunteering their time and talent. Proceeds will be donated to Congressman Jim McDermott.
