Homer's Backyard Ball IBCA Cookoff
Homer's Backyard Ball is the primary fundraiser for the Homer's Backyard Ball Foundation, a non-profit corporation.  Homer's Backyard Ball is a high quality outdoor musical festival that supports Homer's Backyard Ball Foundation, which provides financial support through grants, fundraisers, and events to community organizations that provide financial assistance and services to area youth for disease research, life opportunities and physical or personal enhancement.

PEACE Love & BBQ at the 2014 Homerstock Cook Off

Sanctioned by the International Barbecue Cookers Association (IBCA) & The Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI)

Cook-off packets will be handed out at the entry gate when you arrive on Friday, May 16. Parking will be strictly enforced.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
Friday, May 16
8:00 am Gates open to cook teams
5:30 pm Kid's Q turn in - $10 entry fee  one age group 18 and under
6:30 pm Kid's Q awards  Cook off tent
7:00 pm MANDATORY cook's meeting/container pickup

Saturday, May 17
Turn-In Times (subject to change):
11:00 am Calf Fries
1:00 pm Chicken
2:00 pm Chili
3:00 pm Pork Spare Ribs
5:00 pm Brisket
6:30 pm Awards (cook off tent)  TENTATIVE

NO MOVING VEHICLES ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT
ABSOLUTELY No ATVs, personal golf carts, motorcycles or four-wheelers will be allowed onsite.

NO SERVING THE PUBLIC ALLOWED
NO In-Ground and/or Open Fire Pits

A "quiet" time will be imposed for respect of other teams and the surrounding neighborhood Friday night from 11:59 pm - 6 am Saturday morning.

Due to space restrictions, we are limited to 200 cook teams, so please register early.

DISCLAIMER: By completing this registration, I understand that it is the responsibility of the head cook that all team members abide by the rules and regulations of the event.  Failure to comply with any rule or regulation may result in immediate disqualification.  Firearms, fireworks, or other explosive devices, glass containers, keg beer, ATV's and golf carts are PROHIBITED at the event.  I have read and agree to abide by all rules and regulations set by the Homers Backyard Ball Board of Directors and the IBCA.
