The Sacred Alchemy Festival
At the foot of the great mountain,
the ancient tribes of man gather at Summer's End
bringing their offerings of fire, drum, dance & magic.
The time-out-of-time gathering place in the imagination will stoke the fires of life.
We will dance deep into the wildfire of our own nature to celebrate
the elemental thread that binds us all through the music.
Come join your tribe: gypsies, belly dancers, 5Rhythms dancers, fairies,
warriors, mountain folk, bards, drummers and royalty of old
in a weekend of workshops, feasting, drumming, dancing,
mystical merriment and FIRE!
The Alchemy
Pick a Tribe
Imagine traveling across the land to join with others of your kind. Others who follow the same path, a similar drum beat, a rhythm that you each share in your souls. Here at The Sacred Alchemy Festival, the intention is to allow you to drop way into your ancient bones and feel the fire of your free spirit. You get a rare chance to explore that unique character of your ancient imagined most alive self.
Here's the idea: we have created Tribes for our guests to camp and gather with. Many of you will find picking ONE tribe pretty tough. Your tribe is your base encampment, a way to connect with like-minded folks right off the bat. You are welcome to check out the other tribes. We encourage folks to mingle!
If you don't resonate with any of the tribes listed, FEAR NOT! It just means you're walking the road enjoying the sights. We have a tribal encampment just for you: The Sojourners (the travelers).
As part of our Saturday Grand Presentation, each tribe will do-their-thing as their offering to the festival community. This may be mass drummers playing a rhythm together, a belly dance procession, or an epic tale told by the Bards (poets, storytellers and actors), a procession of Royalty with Knights and maidens in tow, a mock battle, a circus of mystical creatures. Each tribe will have a Coordinator. When you buy your tickets online you will have an option to choose a tribe. You can also select to have your contact info go to your tribe's coordinator so they can include you in the creation of the spectacular thing your tribe is dreaming up.
It's all in the name of fun! Let's see what perks up through the cracks of your ordinary self.
