My name is Jessica Robinson, also known as Miss Alameda. I am an environmental advocate, producer, actress, and an Al Gore Climate Leader. I have created a mini documentary about Climate Change for Al Gore's Climate Reality Project, by conducting interviews with experts in the field of sustainability and climate change. I have interviewed LG Gavin Newsom, Mayor of Alameda, Marie Gilmore, Green For All, UC Berkeley Professors, NRDC, and many more. The documentary is focusing on how the community can leverage grassroots efforts to help address and solve climate change, while meeting the US government halfway.

The expedition is being documented/filmed in 2 parts, the interviews, followed by a tour from Bay Area Green Tours.

The expedition will begin at Alameda's South Shore Center, highlighting how SSC has become a leader in sustainability and waste management of all 80 Jamestown Properties, we will watch a movie called "Trashed" a Blenheim Films with Jeremy Irons, and then the tour will be moved onto a bus where we will travel to three to four locations in the Bay Area, seeing what type of infrastructure we have to support our efforts to solve climate change.

The day will end  with the option to dine at SSC's treasured restaurant, Trabocco, where there will be a mini tour of restaurant's diversion program and then all guests will get to enjoy a delicious Italian meal.

The documentaries will be filmed and released on the web, youtube, ClimateRealityProject.org and other websites.
