Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

La Cocina
San Francisco, CA

You could party like a rock star, drink Coronas all day long or wake up on a bench in Dolores Park. OR, you could join 5th generation panadero Luis Vazquez for a Yucatecan Cinco de Mayo event like you wouldn't believe. Luis, owner of Chaac Mool Cafe in Oakland, will introduce the flavors of Tulum, Merida and more, all with just the right amount of habanero. If you don't leave speaking Mayan, you weren't paying enough attention. Guests will learn to create a traditional Mayan dinner, sip mescal and take the cheapest trip to Mexico they've ever been on. All guests will leave with their own homemade Mayan salsa, a full belly and the memory of Merida fresh on their minds.

Note: Dress appropriately for kitchen work.
