2009 MIT Open Ballroom Competition - Professional Showcase

The MIT Open is the largest amateur ballroom dance competition in the US. Last year, we attracted over 1,000 competitors! The professional show featuring LUCA AND LORAINE BARICCHI will take place in the middle of the Open session (Session 2) on Saturday evening. Please come early to watch the competitive events prior to the show for a chance to see some of the best amateur competitors in the country!

ALL COMPETITIVE EVENTS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ARE FREE TO WATCH. THE TICKETS SOLD HERE ARE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL SHOW ON SATURDAY EVENING ONLY.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $65 - VIP, $25 - Adult, $15 - Student, so buying your ticket online will save you up to 25%!

VIP tickets are front row reserved seats, so they are very limited. VIPs are also welcomed with a reception of light snacks and desserts.

General Admission tickets do not guarantee you a seat, but there is plenty of standing room.

Students will need to show student IDs when picking up their tickets at Will Call.

Note: The room will be cleared prior to the show, and only those with tickets will be permitted to re-enter. Make sure to arrive early.
