"The bohemians" (the inspiration for the Broadway hit, Rent), one of the best known and loved operas of all time, La Bohème continues to move audiences worldwide for over a century through themes of friendship, poverty, love and loss, coming-of-age, and mostly its spirit of youth.
This is a great way to sample the art form at its finest--shortened from 2 hours to 50 minutes, sang in English, followed by refreshments and a Meet and Greet Q&A with Portland Opera's traveling cast and director, FREE!
